30 Weave Up & Back Competition – 2016 Purina® Pro Plan® Incredible Dog Challenge® Western Regionals
okay all right guys we are back at
Huntington Beach California for the
Western Regional Championships of the
Purina Pro Plan incredible dog challenge
thanks for hanging with the sky farm
once they’re set on trace where the pen
sitting next to chalene cockerel and
this is our 30 week up and back
competition we’ve crowned champions in
the agility Jack Russells my affection
that incredible diving dogs ready we
have this and freestyle flying nest to
go and here we go with Alison Davison
and swinger
it’s Cindy gray and joy so you’re fired
cool all right so obviously that one out
of the wall start they’re gonna take it
back and get things relined up and ready
to go so the little guy who took off
there is our Papillon five-year-old male
joy rubber ball retriever on the top of
glory go I’m going on resetting it now
good running start for swinger keeping
the lead through the bow but I’m topping
out early they do have to correct or I
should say lead every hole so having to
go back and correct a mess that cost
them the race it
boy stays on track and every winter had
that nice start got nice way together we
can’t make mistakes in this event
have you seen any time it would have
mattered real estate goes into the other
no matter joy at family home get every
pole and if they miss a pole they do
have to go back and correct it if they
would have kept going they would have
been disqualified from that love race as
well so now I got to clean this
yesterday and it’s a living all the dog
joy will advance here in this quarter
final round of 30 we’ve up and back top
dog will get a spot to the national
championship finals in st. Louis so joy
will advance and will take on the winner
of this next yeah the number will be in
the Shannon

Australian Shepherd there’s the Aussie
Shepherd woman right there I think it’s
the reverse this is I think this is our
Aussie Shepherd cannon and then and then

so evenly matched size-wise here look
very similar
the colors here we go heat two
quarterfinal rounds 30 guns a class of
holders ladies take your time
ladies stand up you can’t fix joy in the
semi Oh psych they are dropping
that was not the start we’re going to
redo here Robert judges over here the
dog so intense ready to go and then
we’re ready to play yes it is the last
race they can undergo break climb we’ll
let you know if anything it pumps it

they’re off Toby with the lead
Oh but making up the distance cannon out
of the weaves and into the tunnels about
the same time but out faster on the
ground speeders Toby on the top oh this
is going to be a nose to nose it looks
like handin blowing and Franta was close

becae was badly tied you know it’s your
kid wrangle that was a great race
equipment for throughout the entire hole

so joy and Toby will face each other now

now take a look at this run which was
joy and swinger I guess the judges are
looking at that right now because there
was a question on joy and the last poll
of her race
so just confirming that everything is
good making sure they’re in and out of
every single poll so let’s watch if this
is the one in question oh yes I think
that joy missed a poll digit did I say
that correctly so we think she might
have missed a poll so we’re gonna have
to wait and see what that does to that

that I’m not sure the judge on the field
even saw that goes quick super fast

we look at the miniature poodle facing

I know there’s a lot of swimmers okay so
it sounds like perhaps you’re calling
back oh joy and swinger here we go I’m
going to redo that first race because of
the mistake that join me or is in that
poll let’s not go web centering the
actual race like I always like to say
there are no shortage ourselves dogs are
just better to really do the whole thing
and hope we get a clean ones they’re
just fun exotic swinger changing courses
we’re gonna get back through obviously
going the far sides so arch dog was just
small dog now we always say typically
other words dog to you ladies ready have
the advantage but we’ve seen 20 small
dogs beat out the big boys in this race
go where they are a little
a little joy a little bit ahead right
now oh excuse me a little cleaner winger
is a head going out of the tunnel again
can joy catch up I’m not sure this is a
queen race swinger to the finish line
all right catchy and birthday and I know
that race it was clean the perhaps of
all the normal swing over that cause
let’s say capita fastest through the
course and will advance but good job the
little dog does it
all right we’ve got that settled to go
now to our okay our final two that we
have final two in this quarterfinal
round of 30 we’ve up and back it’s champ
the border collie over here who will
face ref M&E all America oh he looks
like Benji summit Benji boys was an
all-american there just a lady on the
podium earlier today the third place is
Jill t-handle is ready all right three
two one go
Jan versus grant here we go oh and a
mistake right out of the gate for
Griffin having to go back and wreck but
he’s fast can he bridge the gap champ
already back up on the last set of 30 if
there are no mistakes here this looks
like it’s champs racing on is Griffin so
number one and number two is Griffin
both advance on paper and the name on
top is champ and it’s different lives on
the screen sorry all-american Griffin
will take that one it champ the border
collie will take a seat okay where’s no
sorry about that yeah Griffin advancing
swinger Toby will battle it out and then
edgy and Griffin will duel in the
semifinals for a spot in our final round
of 30 we’ve up and back following this
will clear the field we get set for
crowd favorite one called freestyle
flying disc if you haven’t seen it
you’re gonna want to check that out fun
to watch good competitors there Kirby
McElveen the local it’s going to go well
she’s won three times of four she’ll be
going for another win here to get
another spot to the national
championship file she’s always fun to
watch a lot of the others stay tuned for
that lot of champions been crowned so
far today well make sure we get the crib
done here in 33 by the way oh

versus small fast versus fast
neck-and-neck and sweeter pulling ahead
into the tunnel quick out and back in
the weaves first

keeping it across the finish line and

beating out the big dog with some quick
steps and fast waves this one’s all
about focus and determination and
disdain on course because of course in
agility these weaves are either in sets
of six or six sets of twelve so when
you’re talking about thirty of those in
a row it’s really important to keep them
on track you can see here really close
Toby got closest they’re coming back in
with a set of thirty but Wow singer
swinger just put on the juice in
expanded on the lead and took the win AG
and Griffin now in this semifinal match
winner will take on swinger in the final
the loser will take on Toby in the
consolation round races third place
third and fourth here we go
they’re so cute neck and neck looks like
Izzie pulling ahead just slightly out of
the first set of weaves now that the
tunnel together this is going to be
ocean edgy from this view I can’t tell
but yes in advance we’re going to have a
miniature poodle going up against the
poppy on for the transom juice not a
dollar would have ever said making it to
our finals today in the 30 weave up and
back so that settles the final swinger
and edge you will take each other on
Toby will now go to the consolation rat
look Toby will take on Griffin in
consolation so who will get the third
place honors that’s what we’ll find out
here interesting how the sizes kind of
pair it out right our two small dogs in
the finals and Toby and Griffin closer
to the same size in our consolation
river that’s all Toby there’s probably
all right this is still a quarter
preferred in work place for the third
place poet eho team spot on the hook

place well maybe not check but
definitely the hard work all right
all-american Ruffin going up against the

on this is a redly head-to-head
competition whoa whoa right now Griffin
with a slight lead over Toby

vibra toby is very quick but Griffin if
he stays on track no mistakes there you
go exactly that very nice race you guys

place so third and fourth is settled

dog cleared up a bit winds calm down
just a hair not too bad flags aren’t
flying is quite in straight straight is

nice for our freestyle flying disc
competition coming up shortly dogs

these dogs are loving this weather Oodle

the fast marks either super high we’ve
been to some events where super cold so
this is nice and cool writing them in up
