Today we are finally doing the DIY
Agility Jumps for dogs!
Were gonna show you
the simplest way that we know
to make your own jumps
That you can have in your backyard and
practice with your dogs!

Let’s get to it!
The basics of what you are gonna need,
we’re making blue jumps. We need…
Two (2) five (5′) foot long, white PVC pipes.
Two (2) five (5′) foot long, any color you want.
We need two (2) of the little ‘3 Ways.’
We need six (6) caps.
Measuring tape,
PVC cutter.
Makes it the easiest cutter!
Marker to mark your lines and this!
This is the ‘Clip And Go’ Agility.
This is for measuring your bar.

The first two (2) bars we’re gonna do,
is the ground bar and the jump bar.
They both need to be forty seven (47″) inches.
Where making a mark on both of them,
then we’re cutting them.
This is, our PVC pipe cutter.
(Making noises)
(Laughter)

Cut, cut, cut, cut!
(Jessica)
Alright! We will see how it works!
(Jamie)
And… Chop!

Tadaaaa!

Is not perfectly straight, but probably
will get better.
(Jessica)
Nice job!
These blue bars are actually being
turned in the uprights and the legs.
The uprights, both need to be thirty six (36″) inches.
We’re gonna make those and cut them first.
Now, we’re cutting the legs.
We’re going to cut these, both into two (2)
nine (9″) inch pieces.
Now, we have the jump bars and the ground bars.
Two (2) uprights, the legs and everything else,
we need to put together.
We’re showing you, how to assemble this!
I’m gonna show you, how to put these
together now.
Woo! Maybe!
Take this piece (3 ways)
and put it here. Then, this piece (3 ways)
and put it over here.
These were the feet that we cut.
Put them here.
We have to press it down
It helps! Put there…

On a side note, you can glue them together
if you want to. I’m not going to.
Place the long ones there…
One goes here!
Then, we place the little caps that we bought.
These are to protect the edges, so you don’t
want sharp edges.

Maybe twenty ($20) dollars in pipes?
Only because we bought colorful pipes,
you could probably get the same amouth of pipe
for ten ($10) bucks?

That really wasn’t much!

I was gonna say that was the biggest
expense…

These are the jump caps and I will show you
what they really do, in a minute.
What we did before, is that we measured out
like twenty seven (27″) inches up,
from the ground with this attached.
We’re gonna clip this cap right here.
Right below… Clip that up…
(Snap noises)

So that clip goes at twenty seven (27″) inches?

Yes!
(Jamie)
OK!
Then, we clip this one!
(Snap sounds)

Which is actually, only a couple of inches
from the button there…
(Jessica)
Then, the reason you want these,
is because you know exactly, how many inches
your pipes are being set.
There it is!
(Jamie)
Tadaaa!

We did it!
