Doberman Pinscher Vlog – Hip Displacia Signs Symptoms, medicine and arthritis
lately I’ve been noticing my buddy not
getting off the couch as fast as he used
to
I’ve been noticing and have a little
trouble getting up and down the stairs
at first it took it’s warmed up he’s 5
years old now Dobermans live
approximately 10 to 12 years and hip
dysplasia it’s a really common problem
with Dobermans sent a lot of dogs but
especially dozens so I’ve been a little
worried that it might be one of his
problems we gave him an
anti-inflammatory drug called vetpro
Fionn and all of a sudden he was spry
and up moving around like nothing was
wrong and everything’s great again I’m
really worried it might be what it is so
I looked up some of the symptoms and it
is some of the symptoms slow to get up
slow to move around
he hasn’t avoided exercise he still
likes to go he still likes to go run but
it’s also bunny-hopping with the back
legs and I’ve noticed that for a while
now that he’s been bunny hopping with
those back feet when he runs a little
worried about my guy here so I looked up
some information on hip dysplasia in
dopamine’s I thought you guys might be
interested in
when he comes inside from being out in
the rain or muddy I we put him in his
kennel for a little while to clean these
feet mostly on the the rugged inside of
his kennel so he doesn’t track mud all
over the houses baby on patreon this
week on patreon this week we asked our
patrons what treat would they like to
see crews get and our patrons chose duck
sausage Duck Dale actually chose duck
so this treat is brought to crews by a
patron from patreon thank you very much
okay lethargy slow to move slow to get
up slow to react obvious signs not it
can also be confused with arthritis and
you need to go see your vet if you
really have some confusion between
arthritis and hip dysplasia but usually
when they sit down to they’ll sit like
an upright see the position like a
person would sit with one hip obviously
cocked to the side that’s a sign of hip
dysplasia we don’t think that’s his
problem because he’s active and getting
around more thing maybe you just get a
little older you know it just get a
little slower with his old age and maybe
a little bit arthritis but don’t tell
her she don’t want to admit it on and
off of the furniture yeah
the bit broken helped it so it did I
think it’s just the arthritis he’s when
he was younger he injured his shoulder
and he he wasn’t like I don’t know he’s
pretty clumsy when he was a pup yeah
that one was a little clumsy when
they’re younger
anyway nothing to really worry about at
this point but just you know pay
attention to sit your dog has shown you
the signs of that and if he is for the
bet gonna check
