this is an Australian Shepherd males are
20 to 23 inches females are 18 to 21
they are a herding dog so they are very
active many of them are great with kids
but it is a hurting breed and so they
tend to herd and can nip if they are not
worked with correctly trained to be with
children they make great family dogs for
the most part they were they’re really
are great family dogs all right this
breed comes in four colors the black and
the red red would be solid then there is
the Merlin gene so this dog is red with
a Merlin gene so you get this pattern
and then a black dog with the Merlin
gene it’s called a bloomer and they have
grays and almost a blue cast to them
they are all different some of them have
multicolored eyes like he does he has a
brown eye and a blue eye people ask me
is the blue live line and that no they
can see just fine
blue eyes brown eyes is just like people
it’s just the eye pigment they shed a
little bit all the time this is a double
coated breed though so twice a year they
molt and they will shed and Jen Jen
twice a year the rest of that general
brushing is good keeping up with their
nails trimming their pads most of them
are pretty high Drive they make great
agility dogs great hiking biking running
companions there are some that are more
laid-back I have a lot of people that
call for puppies and I always want to
make sure they understand this is a very
active breed that they need to if they
don’t have a big yard there where they
can go out and play with them that they
hike or at least walk twice a day
they they have a higher activity level I
love so many things about them I love
the intelligence I love that they are
willing to please that they love
multiple people they are not always just
a one-person dog they bond to their herd
to their family and they will take care
of their family
