a little bit getting some exercising
with the dog going over some of our new
sporting adventures and what we’re
trying to get into we’ve started the
beginning steps of the iron dodge and
even the French rink tests and those
beginning steps are your temperament
test and with the French ring it’s
called the CSA you and is what it
establishes is a if your dog is capable
and able to handle social situations
have a stable temperament and just a
good demeanor pretty much the same with
the iron dog it’s similar to like a CGC
test your canine good citizen and those
are your first steps and to going into
working events to where you can make
sure your dogs nice and stable we’re
gonna start to try and work on is crisp
up are events that we’re going to our
handling my obedience with the dogs they
advance that a little bit work on
healing you know sit stay your recall
and all those little things that work
into good obedience and an overall
silent dog and with the French ring you
have ring one ring two and ring three
events which is just different
variations of athletic combinations of
jumps obedience retrieval and that again
the bite work and that’s where the
temperament tests and the soundness of
the dog comes in to see if they can
handle of things such as that and with
us we’re just at the very beginning and
just touching the tip of the iceberg
with these events getting through the
temperament tests making sure all of
that is nice and sound and our dogs are
capable of doing that which juice our
youngest male is past and rot as well as
the oldest male is past and Rob may just
be the end for him since he’s almost 8
and the pet or he might you know show
that willingness to please still come
out and surpass this up you know my
ideas and my thoughts of what he can do
juice the hopes is that he can at least
do the first step of the
French ring and that beat the breve and
it’s pretty much advanced obedience your
recall your sit stay your absence of
handle there and then you have to do a
food refusal which is pretty much offer
them food and they have to you know
refuse it it’s pretty simple and
self-explanatory there then they do a
little bit of work in healing and
obedience with the muzzle on and then
you have two defenses bite bite and
holds where they have to make contact
with the decoy and hold that as they get
worked over a little bit so that’s our
goal there with him to get him started

handle that Iron Dog events and stuff
that we’re doing because as much as
people like to work and the classic you

dogs as far as the pit bulls coming from
a box and things like that and you know
people like me and modern day doesn’t
really follow that or accept it so we
got to find other things to do and as
much as you can’t necessarily you know
have a dog a working dog in the city
that wants to get on a hog or chase the
coyote or even rabbits or different
things like that we’ve turned into some
working events within the French ring
Iron Dog and different psi events to
where we can get out and do things to
give the dogs the ability to you know
get that energy out give them an outlet
or they’re a stable healthy dog and
pretty much what we’re doing here is
we’re just trying to give the best
healthiest working dog atmosphere we can
give them and make them a complete and
round’ dogs over here at diesel dogs
