hey how you doing i’m a doberman
pinscher i don’t want to brag but we are
considered one of the smartest
friendliest and bravest breeds around we
Dobermans are fiercely loyal and very
obedient it is because of our fearless
attitude that we were commonly used as
police dogs or god dogs sometimes we can
get a little aggressive towards
strangers but are rarely aggressive
towards owners we have a great sense of
humor wonderfully expressive faces and a
curiosity that will make you laugh our
history goes back to Germany in the
1890s where a tax collector named Carl
Frederick Louis Doberman developed a new
dog to keep him safe when he went in the
Bandit infested areas because of our
superior mental ability and our fearless
attitude we have served alongside
soldiers in both world wars today we
continue to provide service to law
enforcement and the military we
Dobermans tend to live about 10 to 12
years we’re considered a medium-sized
dog standing around 24 to 28 inches tall
and weighing in between 70 and 90 pounds
Dobermans have square frame bodies and
are very lean and muscular we come in a
few different colors like black red blue
and fawn but black and tan is the most
common and well known coat color we
considered a fairly healthy breed with a
few potential health problems you have
to watch out for such as dilated
cardiomyopathy or a weakened heart when
it comes to training Dobermans we love
to learn which makes us excellent
working dogs and companions
the ideal place for me to live is a
suburban or rural home because I need
exercise
shall we reiterate some of these after
mentioned facts we are highly
intelligent and extremely loyal to our
owners we originated from late 19th
century German and with bred as guard
dogs we have a long history of being
brave police dogs keeping owners and the
public safe we are one of the easier
dogs to train due to our high
intelligence I can adapt to many
different environments but I prefer to
live in a house with a yard so I can
stretch my legs all right well I gotta
