Dogs’ Tails When Fighting : Dog Behavior & Training
hi my name is Justin chair dog
behavioral therapist and master trainer
with bark busters home dog training and
today we’re going to talk to you about
dog tails and the positions when
fighting so when talking about dogs
tails when fighting dogs body language
is very indicative of essentially what’s
going on with the dog mentally and
emotionally at that time when dogs are
in a fight mode their tails tend to go
straight up in the air and with regards
to the rest of the body language there
will be a hackle which is where that the
hairs of the dogs stand up in the middle
of the dog’s back their tail again will
be straight up in the air the ears will
be forward and everything will be perked
up the neck will be up the head will be
forward in that essentially is a good
indication that your dog is in an
assertive and or an aggressive mode
