Secret Service Dog to Be Awarded Medal for Protecting President Obama from White House Intruder
a one-time secret service dog who is
credited with protecting former
President Obama from an intruder is set
to receive an award for being a hero in

to the dog’s retirement in 2016 on
health grounds that night he stepped up
and delivered under circumstances that
no amount of training could prepare him

October at a ceremony in London where he
will also be the first foreign animal to
receive the award
