The Business of French Bulldogs | Forbes
don’t eat my hair they’re so loving um
they’re great with children for people
that have kids you know Volcom when they
need to be but they’re not like too
hyper and super lovable thank you
originally we had just a male we decided
to get a companion and then it kind of
just happened they were like oh it was a
lot of fun we love doing it and then we
just decided let’s just keep him doing
it how much you gonna charge but um
these puppies here 3,500 I mean if we
have a blue or chocolate they’re more
rare so they’re 5,000 we want people to
be able to afford the dog and be able to
get the dog but um it does cost you know
a decent amount of money like probably
100 dollars 105 dollars per dog per
month can you take me through the
process of how you get from your two
adult dogs to having puppies we made
them ourselves here um let them
naturally mate then it’s about roughly
it’s about $1,200 for c-section how
time-consuming is it to raise the
puppies on that one
in the beginning it’s time to do me
because their eyes are closed so they
can’t you have to put them on the mom
gum nipple to nurse probably every three
to four hours so you have to be home you
know so you can take the time out to do
that but it’s worth it who doesn’t want
to hang out with these little guys
there’s a high demand for French
bulldogs so there’s usually we don’t
have enough a lot of people sometimes
they’ll have a waiting list for the next
litter coming up and we meet the people
usually they come to the house they meet
the puppies
made them a couple times and should get
a feel for them and then we’ll meet them
sometimes we’ll go to their own their
household and see you know where the
dogs and we live in the environment and
we go from there
see the joy gives to other people to
have you know that dog when they you
know I’ve had people cry when I’ve given
them their dog so this is a great
feeling you know to know they’re going
to go to a new home and get such love
