Winter tips – Limit time outdoors
hi I’m dr. Jerry Klein with a quick
winter tip limit I’m outdoors
don’t leave your dog outside in the cold
for long periods of time wind chill
makes days colder than actual
temperature readings be attentive to
your dog’s temperature and limit their
time outside frostbite can occur usually
and the tips of the ears nose paws and
the tail we do suspect frostbite gently
warm the area but don’t use direct heat
on it helpful hints this plays a towel
in a clothes dryer to help warm them up
