Young German S/H Pointer learning to be obedient off lead
okay lots of carrots walking is done on
a one-to-one just with her so that I can
concentrate on her training but when I
go out with all the dogs she’d normally
because she’s nine months she’d normally
be on a lead unless I actually are
letting her off to play but somewhere
like this it’s a narrow path it’s good
practice for her to walk with the other
dogs free off the lead so there’s a
train lead in my pocket as always in
case she’s being a real pain and but I’m
down here you know they just come with
me he’ll come on here carrot you now I
mean this walking off the lead you know
you’ve got to cut your dog some slack
and you want to enjoy a walk you don’t
want to be intensively training them on
the lead all the time but and they can
enjoy themselves but you don’t want to
do it on an open field where they’re
pushing out and hunting away because
you’re just allowing them to learn that
they can have their own agenda someone
like this is absolutely perfect a bit of
off the lead walking you know they enjoy
and that frankly you can relax
